Great American Beer Festival medals from 1991 to 2026 and World Beer Cup medals from 1996 to 2026 won by Orange County breweries. Choose a brewery to see its beers by year.
Data notes
GABF 2013 to 2026 and World Beer Cup 1996 to 2026 come from the official Brewers Association winner PDFs, filtered by city. GABF 1991 to 2012 was added by hand from results compiled by OCBeerBlog, back to the first OC medal (none in 1990 or earlier, 1992, 1996, 1998, or 2003). The World Beer Cup had no OC-city medals in 1996 or 2000.
The World Beer Cup was not held in 2020 or 2021. The 2026 GABF list prints the Beachwood Blendery in Long Beach, while the 2025 World Beer Cup list prints it in Huntington Beach; each is tagged as printed.
Some of the official lists have categories with fewer than three medals because they were never awarded: GABF 2025 had no Gold in American Black Ale or American Stout, World Beer Cup 2023 had no Gold in two categories, and World Beer Cup 2026 had no Bronze in one category. These were checked against the competitions' medal totals.
Medals from locations outside Orange County (Long Beach, Corona, Oceanside) are hidden by default and tagged when shown. Check the box on the brewery list to include them.
Not included: Golden Road Los Angeles medals, Karl Strauss San Diego medals, SouthNorte medals from its San Diego and Chula Vista years, BJ's medals printed in Chandler, AZ (World Beer Cup 2008) and Woodland Hills (World Beer Cup 2000), Rock Bottom Long Beach, and Evans Brewing (Corona) at the 2012 and 2022 World Beer Cup.
BJ's medals that print other cities in the brewery name (such as Reno or Chandler) are tagged Huntington Beach, and two 2011 TAPS medals that print "(Corona, CA)" are tagged Brea, following the city column.
Open means a brewery is still brewing in Orange County as of October 2026. When Open is selected, closed breweries and BJ's (which no longer brews in Orange County) are hidden everywhere on the page. SouthNorte is counted as open although its beer is now contract brewed in San Diego.
Brewery of the Year and Champion Brewery awards are listed on brewery pages and are not counted in medal totals.
